Filament mixer with variable contribution of input materials for FDM 3D printers
Hráček, Michal ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the theory of 3D printing and 3D printers and the possibility of mixing two filaments. The work is focused especially on extruder, which is one of the main parts of 3D printer, but also on mounting and cooling the print head. In the extruder, the filament is fed and subsequently melted. Furthermore, the work mentions the problems of stepper motors, describes the used components for the practical part of the work and implementation of the entire device from PCB design, writing FW, to design mechanical parts.
Program for inovation of the SORT control system
Šulc, Martin ; Kváš, Marek (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The analysis for the extension of the control system and proposal of controlling program for surveillance cameras and related theoretical analysis necessary for understanding problems. Proposal communication protocol to access all functions via TCP/IP communication. Subsequent protocol implementation into control program and a programmable controller. Programming application with a user interface for camera control and basic image processing. The program also represents the server for TCP/IP communication with clients over the proposed protocol. The proposed application has to fulfill high pretensions of data streaming from cameras. Extension of the existing control system of the telescope, dome and other systems. The addition of analog measurement and control of digital inputs and outputs. Furthermore, control of stepper motors to control focusers. The embedded communication protocol will be expanded of the new instruction.
Camera slider control
Rajnoch, David ; Götthans, Tomáš (referee) ; Mego, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes design and implementation of stepper motor digital controller that manages camera slide movement. The main elements are microcontroller ATmega16 and stepper motor driver TOSHIBA TB6560. Controller allows a time-lapse mode and continuous linear movement including smooth start and stop. Human interaction is based on joystick input and text display connected via HD44780 interface. The theoretical part describes stepper motors and their control modes. The practical part deals with design of electronic circuit and test of functionality.
Modeling and control of stepper motor in MATLAB/Simulink
Macek, Daniel ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Kozovský, Matúš (advisor)
The work deals with describing the types of stepper motors, as a method of their controlling, their potential method of modelling each type of motors. Main purpose was to design a model of stepper motor with controlling in open-loop for modes Full-step, Half-step and Microstepping and controlling in closed-loop. Resultant design model of stepper motor compare with real stepper motor.
Control system for remote laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy
Petrilak, Michal ; Fuchs, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The work deals with the design of the control electronics for measuring set-up for elemental composition analysis using remote LIBS techniques. The electronics is designed in modular way for light interchangeability and variability. It consists of several separate plug-ins; each plug-in solves its part of the problem and communicates with others over the I2C bus. The work describes the basic components and concepts; a special care is taken to describe the modules for stepper motors control and for communication with focusing lens from Canon company.
Development of the testing device for length measurement
Kirchner, Jan ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is a verification of possibility to measure displacement in small range using sensor based on the principle of strain gauge. For testing purspose, an evaluating unit was designed, made and assembled. This unit contains analog/digital converter, LCD and it has an abbility to move measuring plane using stepper motor. Next part of this thesis is about testing new prototype of strain gauge sensor, including evaluation of results of measuring. The performed measurements were measuring linearity, time stability and repeatability. Based on the results of the measurements, the possibility of using this type of length measuring device was confirmed for further development.
